NEW MUSIC: TROYE SIVAN | ANGEL BABY

Troye Sivan has released a new song entitled “Angel Baby,” which was accompanied by a Lucas Chemotti-directed visualizer. This serves as Sivan’s first new music of 2021 and the follow-up to his "In a Dream" EP. Following “Easy,” his collaboration with Kacey Musgraves and Mark Ronson, Sivan released “Could Cry Just Thinkin About You” and “You,” with Regard and Tate McRae. ‘In a Dream’ was a follow-up to Sivan’s 2018 album "Bloom" In a five-star review of the album, said the Perth pop star “tears away all the filters to share a deliriously upbeat statement that washes over you like a dopamine rush.” As for his latest single, “Angel Baby’ is my crack at an adoring, doting, love-struck, mega pop, gay, power ballad. I thought we needed a few more of those,” the Australian singer-songwriter said in a statement about the track, which he co-wrote with Jason Evigan, Michael Pollack, Sarah Hudson and JHart. After gaining popularity as a singer on YouTube and in Australian talent competitions, Sivan signed with EMI Australia in 2013. He released his third extended play, "TRXYE" (2014), which peaked at number five on the US Billboard 200. Its lead single, "Happy Little Pill," reached number ten on Australian music charts.
