Westlife is gearing up to release their first album in 2 years, entitled "Wild Dreams" alongside the album's lead single "Starlight," co-written by Tom Grennan and produced by Jamie Scott (One Direction) and Lostboy (Griff). The Irish group's twelfth album and their first album with EastWest Records after Shane, Nicky, Mark and Kian, signed a significant new deal with the label earlier this year since parting ways with EMI Records following their 2019 Number 1 comeback album, Spectrum. "The maze of emotions we all experienced during the pandemic drew us to songwriting and has helped us create an exceptional album that we have everything we love in music - it’s got fresh, feel-good uptempo tracks like ‘Starlight’ as well as powerful, heartfelt ballads such as ‘Always With Me." The 15-track special edition deluxe album also includes the newly released feel-good single ‘Starlight’ and, as a bonus for fans, new live recordings of smash hit singles including "Flying Without Wings," "World of Our Own," and "Uptown Girl." Westlife has scored 11 Number 1 albums and 13 Number 1 singles in Ireland and has topped the albums chart in the UK on eight occasions while also notching up 14 UK Number 1 singles. This puts the lads joint third with Cliff Richards as the act with the most Number 1 singles in the UK. Only The Beatles (17) and Elvis Presley (21) have more.
