Gabby Barrett eases into a new musical chapter with “Pick Me Up,” her newly released back-roads anthem about the kind of love that makes everything right in the world. "Pick Me Up” is one of four new tracks added to the extended version of her Gold-selling debut album, "Goldmine (Deluxe)," out November 19. Penned by Gabby, Ross Copperman, and Jon Nite, this backroad ballad has a clever double meaning, as it refers to the subject of the song literally picking the singer up in their truck and picking her up in terms of mood. The track has the contemporary country sound we’ve come to expect from Barrett, with a bit of electric guitar toward the end. The new tracks on "Goldmine (Deluxe)" include “Pick Me Up,” “Never Get It Back,” a cover of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” – previously released as an exclusive Amazon Original – and “The Good Ones (Wedding Version).” The latter was inspired due to an overwhelming request from her fans on social media for a stripped-down rendition of her chart-topping single to use at weddings. Barrett is the most-nominated female artist at the upcoming 55th Annual CMA Awards and is up for four nods, including Song of the Year and Single of the Year for “The Good Ones,” Female Artist of the Year, and New Artist of the Year.
