Every week, we highlight the cream of the crop in music through our best music of the week column. Here's our round-up of the best tracks and music videos across our desks. This week, we're bringing you the best new music that popular culture offers. Genres mean nothing to us, so be prepared to take a vision quest down many different avenues.

BENJAMIN INGROSSO | QUEENS

Swedish singer Benjamin Ingrosso gifts fans with his new single "Queens" from his upcoming English album is expected in Autumn. As he wraps up his tour dates, he pushes full steam ahead with new music and sets his sights on conquering the international pop scene. Benjamin writes "Queens" with Amanda Cygnaeus and Madelene Eliasson – with the latter also producing. The Dance You Off singer shared: “Extremely proud of this song and the Queens that I wrote it together with! This song is to all of you Queens out there who make the world a better place!” He is celebrating the queens in his life, with some of the initial opening riffs even boasting a Queen-esque flavour before the production becomes fast-paced and infectious, building to a soaringly optimistic chorus. With over 583 million streams on Spotify, 15x platinum and 17x gold and three albums on Sweden's top list, Benjamin Ingrosso has grown to become one of the home country's biggest stars. In addition to new music and the concert at Fållan, he also plays at Lollapalooza and at the Concert Hall in Stockholm. The concerts give fans a unique opportunity to experience Benjamin's entire musical spectrum. There are also plans for a concert in Norway during the year.

GAVIN HALEY | CLICHE

Continuing the momentum from his latest single, "Body Language," and recent support dates on Tate McRae's US tour, today Gavin Haley releases a new single, "Cliche," and announces his upcoming debut album, "I hate you, Don't Leave Me." "Writing this album was a huge part of my therapy in 2021. And like writing always does for me, it got me through a lot. The album's overall theme is an exploration of being in love with somebody completely different from yourself." Showcasing Haley's evolution as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, "Cliche" pulls the listener in from the jump, building slowly as instrumentation is added in, evolving alongside the increasing energy of the vocal performance. The cool pop track boasts airy guitar wrapped around head-nodding drums as his hip-hop-inspired cadence slides into the catchy chorus, "Is it Cliche to say, I don't know much about love, I don't know much about trust?" "Cliche" is the second single off Haley's upcoming debut album, "I hate you, Don't Leave Me," which came together with the help of co-writers Skylar Mones (Dua Lipa, Kesha), B Ham (Kim Petras, Maroon 5, Kiana Lede), and Trey Campbell (Amber Mark, Banks). The album will release on July 15, 2022, via Red Bull Records.

TEDDY SWIMS | DOSE

Genre-defying crooner Teddy Swims returns with the playfully poignant new track "Dose" via Warner Records. The track's warm, vintage vibe is perfectly captured by the '70s-inspired music video. "Love how you kiss every tattoo on my face," the Atlanta native sweetly sings over bouncy bass and grooving percussion on the song's knockout chorus. "Yeah, it's the time and place to do what the doctor said." It turns out Swims is seriously lovesick: "By morning, what I need, the perks of being a friend is that I get to take a dose of you again." The mellow anthem expertly plays to Swims' dazzling vocal abilities, allowing him to effortlessly explore his range as he details a romance that "stole his common sense." The accompanying music video, which just dropped, finds the Southern boy enjoying a drink in a stylish, vintage room-which is slowly being taken apart around him. A perfect metaphor for an addictive, upending infatuation. This refreshing single garners an A rating, proving that Teddy Swims is one of the most underrated artists in the contemporary music industry. He is out on the road touring, bringing his new music to his fans. On Friday, April 29, Swims will be performing at New York City’s historic Webster Hall venue as part of his “Teddy Swims Presents Tough Love World Tour.”

AMELIA MOORE | CRYBABY

Amelia Moore approaches her music with a fierce commitment to total emotional transparency -an irresistible counterpart to her kaleidoscopic alt-pop sound. Both qualities shine on her new single, "crybaby' which is from the young singer/songwriter's forthcoming EP. Moore's bluesy, fluttering vocals cut to the quick as she addresses an ex - "do u like to make me cry baby / cuz u do it all the time baby / when did god give u control of the rain." Frequent collaborators Pink Slip and Inverness produced the track. Moore, who recently wrapped up a sold-out North American tour with Capitol Records label mate FLETCHER, amassed over 10 million combined global streams and two million video views with her first three singles: "sweet and sour," "vinegar," and "moves." In less than six months, she's already approaching 70,000 followers on Spotify. Ones To Watch named Moore as one of "The 25 Artists to Watch in 2022," and she's been the subject of features in Billboard, DORK, Notion, among others. Hailing her as "our newest alt-pop princess," The Honey Pop said, "There couldn't have been a better song than 'sweet and sour' to introduce us to Amelia's wildly unpredictable sound." PAPER praised "vinegar" for having "the most powerful chorus of 2022."

NOAH | WHAT THE OTHER BOYS DO

Up and coming indie singer/songwriter Noah comes to Wolf in a Suit with the introspective sonic creation that is “What the other boys do.” With this exquisite blend of melodies and lyrics, he gives life to a tale that is not only personal but raw and uniquely inspiring. The track flows with ease through the airwaves, grabbing hold of your imagination and serving us all with a vivid showcase of the experiences of another human being. Something about this soundscape is quite powerful and mesmerizing from start to end, making this track one of the best debut singles I’ve heard in a while. So listen closely and fall prey to the honest mix of feelings and emotions that make this track a must for any music lover. Enjoy the tale that lies within “What the other boys do”! “I wrote ‘What The Other Boys Do’ about the reality I face as a trans man. It’s a song that, I hope, forces people to confront their preconceptions about trans people and empathize with the situations that we sometimes find ourselves in. The lyrics are very straightforward, which leaves little room for debate about what I’m trying to say, while the song itself is quite upbeat, which serves as an oxymoron to the words.”

REILEY | BLAH BLAH BLAH

Rising musician Reiley is back and has premiered his new single titled "blah blah blah," — featuring a sample of Kylie Minogue's 2001 track "Can't Get You Out of My Head." In conjunction with the track's title, the 21-year-old singer drew inspiration from the pressures of social media — but this time, he's ignoring every one of them. "Trolls are unavoidable these days on social media; seems like there are always these anonymous profiles that are quick to hate on anything you do," he tells PEOPLE of the song's inspiration. "I don't find their commentary particularly interesting or creative, so I figured I'd help them out and upgrade their usual banter into a pop anthem." The singer also released a visualizer to go along with the single where he's found standing in the middle of a room with "blah" scribbled all over. Meanwhile, he's also flexing his colourful fashion sense. Reiley used a similar approach in the video to what helped him blow up on TikTok. In 2020, Reiley began sharing videos with colourful backgrounds as he sang covers into a floating microphone — and his fans loved it. "The journey from my early days on TikTok to viral videos, to releasing my first record has been so much fun and something I think my fans have enjoyed being a part of," he says about his rise on social media.
