Ella Mai is finally back with new music after a two-year hiatus. The R&B star has dropped the music video for her single “DFMU,” which stands for “Don’t f*ck me up. Following her 2020 track “Not Another Love Song,” “DFMU” features a similar beat to her chart-topping “Boo’d Up.” “Don’t fuck me up, don’t let me down/You know I wanna be around/You tugging warring with my heart/Didn’t think it’d ever be so hard/Crazy I’m letting down my guard,” she sings in the first half of the chorus with her signature velvety vocals.
