Olivia Rodrigo has released a new song called “Good 4 U," and today, we get the music that Petra Collins directed. The song takes heavy inspiration from Paramore, and other beloved pop-punk bands, with sarcasm-laden verses, addressed at a former flame that slowly builds to a loud, insanely fun chorus. While the "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" star might have given us those slow, sappy ballads before, with her new song, she’s gone fully pop-punk

“Good 4 U” is the third single from Rodrigo’s upcoming debut album "Sour." It follows her break-out single, “Driver’s License,” as well as “Deja Vu.” The highly anticipated LP, which currently sits as one of the most pre-added albums on Apple Music, arrives May 21st via Geffen. Rodrigo, fresh off her debut live television performance of “Drivers License” at the Brit Awards, has also been named Vevo’s first LIFT artist of 2021 and is also set to perform on “Saturday Night Live” tomorrow night, May 15.
